Frequently Asked Questions
Each session is unique, so I don't set a specific number of total images in your gallery- but you can expect plenty of beautiful, high quality photos to choose from. If you'd like more, you can purchase additional images or even the full gallery directly from your private online gallery.
My editing style is specific to what I offer and part of my artistry, so I don’t alter it upon request. However, you can trust that my editing process is intentional and thoughtful with you in mind.
Please book a wedding coordinator. Even if you decide to do just the day of. I have seen beautiful weddings not go well because the bride and bridesmaids tried to coordinate the day. You want to be able to enjoy and relax on your big day, so hire someone that knows how to do that very well. I have several recommendations if you need them!
Yes I do and I HIGHLY recommend printing! From floating frames to canvases to glass boxes with prints, there are so many printing options that you will love. Prints are great gifts or a beautiful addition to your space.
No, I don’t deliver RAW or unedited images. Each photo you receive is hand-edited to reflect the style and quality you see in my portfolio. Editing is a key part of the creative process and helps bring out the best in every image.
Gallery delivery typically takes about 2–3 weeks after your session. During busier times (like fall), it may take up to 3–4 weeks, but I’ll always keep you in the loop!
You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can download your high-resolution images and share them with family and friends. You’ll also have the option to order prints directly through your gallery from a professional print lab I trust and use regularly.
You can, but I highly recommend avoiding big-box stores like Walgreens, Walmart, or Costco. Those places tend to reduce the quality and clarity of your photos. For the best color, detail, and longevity, I always suggest using a high-quality photo lab—and I offer that service directly through your gallery for convenience and peace of mind.
Once you book your session, I’ll send over a link to my blog post with tips on what to wear for photos, including seasonal trends and ideas for families, seniors, and couples. I’m also happy to help you personally if you’re unsure!
You’ll also receive a short questionnaire before your session so I can get to know your style, preferences, and what you’re hoping to capture. It helps us both go into the shoot with a clear plan and shared vision.
I offer limited mini sessions during certain times of the year, such as fall or spring. These are announced in advance and usually book quickly! Be sure to follow me on Instagram or join my email list so you don’t miss them.
If the weather looks questionable, I’ll reach out the day before your session to make a plan. I’m happy to reschedule if needed—we’ll work together to find the best solution.
Yes, I require a $100 nonrefundable retainer to secure your session date and time. This fee goes toward your total session cost and holds your place on my calendar. The remaining balance is due by the day of your session.
Life happens—I get it! You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice, and your retainer will be applied to a new date within a reasonable time frame. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will result in a forfeited retainer.
